Hint #14: Create Multipage PDFs with cf/x convert

Unless you are a professional photographer, putting multiple photos into a single PDF is something you do only occasionally - because it's cumbersome. As you probably know, Apple's 'Preview.app' can do that - albeit only haphazardly. But once you find out how easily you can do it with cf/x convert, you will want to do it often.

Examples of use
Besides the obvious uses for studios, multi-page PDFs are a great way to share your pictures with friends, colleagues and family. A single PDF is handy and neat - and much easier to distribute than a bunch of files. Whether you need to quickly drop the results of a photo shoot to your client, or want to share the best photos from your anniversary - cf/x convert does the job for you. As a plus, convert can add an index, and resize all photos for devices like HDTV, iPhone or iPad (even auto-crop for you). There is no need to convert your originals to a specific size beforehand. After all, convert is a high-octane image converter in its own right.

How it is done
Drop the images into cf/x convert's main window and rearrange them as you like.

Choose 'PDF Book' as output format.

Hit 'GO'. Smile.

Fall is here - and our prices are falling. The reason for this is simple: when the sunlight turned distinctively golden, the air became fresh, and visibility became infinite we took our cameras, and ventured outdoors for a nature shoot. In conditions like these, Lake Zürich looks as if it it ends right at the foot of the alps (it doesn't).
