Five years after it's initial release, Swiss developer cf/x AG, have released a completely overhauled new version of their 'savescreenie’ utility. This free application gives Mac OSX users the opportunity to change the file format as well as the save location of screenshots.

Originally, 'savescreenie 1.x' was released in 2005 and has since then been regarded as "One of the best free utilities for changing just the screenshot format”.

To celebrate the small utility's 5th anniversary, cf/x have upgraded 'savescreenie' with new functionality: additional file formats, save location and file name are now supported.

The only thing that remained the same is it's price: it remains completely free.

'savescreenie' can be downloaded from cf/x AG's website at http://www.cfxsoftware.com.

'cf/x savescreenie 2.0’ requires a Macintosh (Intel or PPC) with OS 10.5 (Leopard) or later.
